Carolina Foundation Solutions – Temporary Shoring – Using Soil Screws and Shotcrete

In order to provide temporary shoring to the embankment of this commercial property in Pineville, NC Carolina Foundation Solutions installed a soil screw wall retention system. Approximately 98 soil screws were installed at the predetermined 14′ depth, wire mesh fencing was installed around the perimeter, 4″ thick shotcrete was applied to the area and lastly, steel plates were installed. This process was repeated until the project was completed.
