Soil Screw Walls

Carolina Foundation Solutions installed a soil screw wall at two residences in Cary, NC where the failure of a segmental block wall resulted in two houses needing to be underpinned with helical anchors to support the structural loads of homes. For the segmental block wall to be repaired, the area behind the homes was excavated in 4 ft lifts leaving a 1:4 vertical slope and a flexible face soil screw system was installed.
