Laurinburg, NC Railroad Bridge

Carolina Foundation Solutions installed eight grouted anchors through existing shoring to lock shoring in place for a new bridge over wetland area for railroad in Laurinburg, NC. Anchors were installed utilizing hollow bar anchors. Grout was mixed on site and pumped through the hollow bar extensions during the drilling process to depths ranging from 30 – 50 ft in length. Anchors were capped with a steel plate to an existing steel whaler.
