Carolina Foundations Solutions – Commercial Carbon Fiber Installation

A daycare center in Yadkinville, North Carolina was experiencing bowing walls and large horizontal cracks were present. Carolina Foundation Solutions installed 35 carbon fiber reinforcement straps in order to prevent further wall movement. The carbon fiber strap adheres to the wall with an epoxy solution that forms a chemical bond with the parallel fibers to reach 234,700 psi of support per strap.
