New Construction

Carolina Foundation Solutions provides services for not only existing homes with problems, but for new home construction as well. Whether you are building a new home, building an addition on an existing home, or remodeling it is always important to verify that the foundation be built on stable soils. If poor or questionable soils are found to be present within the footprint of the new home or addition, we can provide the right solution. By using our services prior to construction, it is less costly and will prevent the unnecessary issues that may occur as a result of settling if done after the structure has been constructed.

Solutions:

“New Construction” Helical Piers with Cap Plates

AB Chance Helical Piers installed with a steel cap plate are an easy and quick solution for providing support for new construction when poor soil conditions are found present. The helical piers capped with “new construction brackets” will support foundation grade beams / footing, column bases, and concrete slabs. The helical piers will properly transfer the future loads down to suitable load bearing soils. They are quick and easy to install and can be loaded immediately. Once the “new construction brackets” or cap plates have been placed, the concrete can be poured.
